After marrying my husband in 1978, I moved to Iowa; my teaching career began in a second-grade classroom. The next twenty years of teaching became a variety of grades and subjects.

My next adventure began with obtaining my Reading Endorsement K-12 from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.

Iowa

We moved our family to the great state of Louisiana to expand our cultural experiences. There I taught two years of four-year-olds and one year of three-year-olds. Enjoyed meeting new friends, eating crawfish and enjoying the Cajun lifestyle. But, we did miss living in Iowa.

While serving as a Title One teacher at Four Oaks, I completed a K12 Instructional Strategist II: BD/LD.

As you can see I have many years of experience with a variety of age groups and abilities. All these experiences give me the necessary background for being a W.I.N. teacher. Working with your child's teacher helps build a firm foundation to prepare them for their future.
